Getting Started at Prana Das
When you learn something new, you want to know you’re in the best hands to bridge you from where you’re at to where you could go.
Each member of our award-winning senior staff has over a decade of professional teaching experience. All of our classes are taught for all levels with options. We take an active role in helping you to learn the art and practice of yoga. There are 2 ways to get started:
(1) Come On In!
If you are already comfortable with yoga and would like to get started straight away, we welcome and invite you to choose a class from our regular schedule and come on in.
We ask that you arrive about 10 minutes before your first class so we can get you familiar with the space, and to complete the New Student form.
You can bring your own mat, or we have rentals available here.
We have several New Student introductory passes, or you are welcome to drop in for class. Most of our students take the class first to see if they like it, and then choose a pass option afterwards.
(2) Start with a Free Consult
We encourage a free 20-minute introductory consult if you:
- Are brand new to yoga or have practiced less than 30 times.
- Haven’t practiced in a year or more
- Have an injury or a condition you’d like to treat
- Have been referred to yoga by a medical or healing arts professional
- Would prefer private yoga lessons
- Would like a consult for any reason!

We are committed to giving each participant a full and expansive experience of yoga and meditation. Private Yoga & Group Sessions
One private session packs the learning power of ten group classes. You can use private sessions to get one-on-one attention aligned to your needs and goals, develop specific aspects of your practice or maintain success-focused accountability with an instructor.
Workshops & Events
Want to explore meditation? Curious about how to open your hips in a healthy way? Interested in inversions? Love live music? Workshops and events offer the opportunity to delve further into the intricacies of the practice. Think of them like master classes for in-depth study.
